ESIC joins forces with Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, significantly broadening healthcare access for millions

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the leadership of Union Labour and Employment Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, is integrating its healthcare services with Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). This initiative aims to enhance healthcare access for over 14.43 crore beneficiaries across India.

  • Access to 30,000 Hospitals:
    ESIC beneficiaries can now avail secondary and tertiary medical care services at over 30,000 AB-PMJAY empanelled hospitals nationwide. There are no financial ceilings on treatment costs under this integration.
  • Existing ESIC Infrastructure:
    The current health facilities under ESIC, including 165 hospitals, 1590 dispensaries, 105 DCBOs (Dispensary cum Branch Offices), and around 2900 empanelled private institutions, will continue offering services to beneficiaries.
  • Convergence Goal:
    This partnership seeks to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare to India’s workforce and their families while expanding the reach of ESIC services.
